A short guide on how to install Firefox from a PPA on Ubuntu 22.04 and remove the Firefox Snap. Doing this gets you a faster Firefox that can do more OOTB.

Yeah, but also is making excuses for how terrible SNAP is. This is a means to an end which is not addressing the problem. The site literally has “omgubuntu” in its name.

I think people want a distribution to do what they ask of it, not one where you need to use workarounds to get it do do what you want.
I get what you mean. But I posted this for anyone who still wants to remain on an Ubuntu based distro and are facing problems with the Firefox Snap.
And honestly, the same problems are occurring with the Flatpak version as well because of how the sandboxing breaks certain extensions.
