You’re one of several people saying this is from AI. I’m more familiar with the AI giveaways in text or fake photos, but not so much with comics. What makes this comic look so obviously AI generated to you?
I think most people just don’t like the time changes twice a year. Permanent standard time or summer time doesn’t matter as much to me, just pick one and stay with it.
Do you have recommendations for fixing discoverability? I can browse by category on streaming apps, but that just shows the top ten or twenty titles. Beyond that it’s search by name or scroll alphabetically.

We can help on a very small scale by planting a variety of native plants and not using pesticide or herbicide. I don’t know much about the risks of fertilizer on a small scale, but it’s generally not needed for native plants anyways.

I get that it’s ideal to owe, but I would rather a refund of a couple hundred dollars than owe a couple thousand. Part of the issue is inconsistent income, though. If it was just a single flat salary for the entire year that should be simple, but when you add in variable pay rates and shift differentials and shift bonuses it all gets messed up.
I don’t care about seeing the amount or not. I care that I have to deliberately set up my withholdings incorrectly to hopefully not end up owing too much more at the end of the year. If I set it up accurately I would end up owing thousands more.
Sorting their account comments by oldest, you see some of that variation I was talking about. There’s about ten normal looking comments total, then two weeks ago they suddenly started with these long LLM looking comments, all about relatively serious topics. I don’t think it’s necessarily an actual bot, but maybe just someone using an LLM to expand or format their comments.
I had doubts, but scrolling through their comment history almost every comment is this length without much variation. Then I saw those were all just in the past eight hours. Seems pretty fishy to me.
Edit: I kept scrolling and wow, the sheer volume of comments this length is astounding. I would normally expect more variation in topics and comment length.
I have almost zero knowledge about Syria, historical, political, or otherwise, so please take this as the genuine question it is:
While HTC (I assume this is the current government?) is obviously not perfect, are they not still a clear improvement over Assad? I guess it’s possible that the new government would treat people similarly, but just has different “enemies”, which would explain why the new government freed people imprisoned by the Assad regime.
